Specified for automotive, military, aviation and many other uses, the inserts are made from high quality 18-8 stainless steel wire with a diamond shaped cross section wound to the shape of a spring thread. This comprehensive thread repair set includes a high-grade tap, 3 inserts and a job-specific installation/tang break-off tool.
